Q. If the traps are set at night won’t it stress out the cats to sit in a trap for so long?
A. Cats are nocturnal animals so you will have more success with trapping overnight.
Q. Can the cats get hurt?
A. The cats are safe, but they do thrash around and may rub the fur off the top of their head. Clients can do things to ensure the cat is less stressed by moving the trap to an area with shade or covering the trap with a towel.
Q. Can wild cats go to ASPCA?
A ASPCA wants cats or dogs that can be re-homed. Wild cats are very difficult to quickly re-home.
Q. Are there other ways to discourage cats from coming on to my property?
A. Yes, there are sonic devices, or granules to keep them away which can be found on many websites.
Q. Won’t animal control kill these cats?
A. Yes, most likely. However, our services ensure that fewer people illegally dump cats. The cat population is so out of control in the Central Valley that the rescue groups are “flooded.” Many cats in rescue are “lifers” which will live their lives in a cage.

| "One pair of breeding cats and their off spring over the course of just five years can equal hundreds of thousands of unwanted cats and kittens. The animal shelters and rescue groups cannot find homes for all unwanted cats and kittens. Spayed/Neutered cats usually live longer and are less likely to become strays. On average one cat or dog is euthanized every nine seconds in the United States." |
